Announcing
the awards C21Media editor-in-chief & managing director David
Jenkinson said: “The C21 International Format Awards in association
with FRAPA are the first that see television programming judged by the
entertainment community at large, not a ‘small panel of experts.’ This
is true peer recognition, and the only way to find and reward the best.
These awards usher in a fresh spirit of democracy in the international
entertainment business and also provide the opportunity for us to
create rich content around the online event.
We are delighted FRAPA chose to partner with C21 and look forward to building a unique awards series together.”
FRAPA
chairwoman and CEO Grundy Light Entertainment, Ute Biernat said: “We
are very happy about this cooperation with C21, which gives the awards
a truly international platform. The online screenings and voting
element, and additional content that is built into the event, will
provide the opportunity for a valuable discussion about how to respect
creativity around the world in a positive and constructive way.”
Further details will be announced shortly.
